The Parish Centre is the facility where most of our Parish Groups meet. It is located within the church’s grounds, to the right side of the main door of the church. It consists of one large room which can hold about forty people and one smaller room which could hold around twenty people. It has a small kitchen, bathrooms and a small garden.
The former library in the Centre has been cleared and the room now functions as a second meeting space in the centre. A good quality shed was procured to store material and, thereby, create space in the centre.
A digital projector was installed for speakers and the showing of films.
The Parish Centre has a part-time employee who takes bookings and keeps the centre clean. A parishioner manages the parish centre on a voluntary basis, sometimes with the help of others. They undertake specific initiatives as needed. To read more about the Parish Centre Team, click here.
Booking the Parish Centre
The Parish Centre can be booked by individuals or groups by phoning 01 805 3033. There is a modest charge for the use of the centre, which goes towards the running costs. The Parish Centre is already well used by the Parish community for various parish related activities, but there are times during the day when it is free for hire.
