A Holy Hour brings Heavens choicest blessings on those who are faithful to their hour. Pope Paul VI
Could you not watch one hour with me? Mark 14:37
Our Holy Hour takes place on the third Sunday of the month in the church, from 7pm to 8pm.
This is a quiet time of prayerful reflection on the Word of God before the Lord present in the Blessed Sacrament. Everyone is welcome to attend.
A group of about six parishioners help to organise the monthly Holy Hour which is led by Fr John O’Brien and hosted by the Legion of Mary.
They publicise and promote the Holy Hour in the parish and beyond. They set up the sanctuary in the church beforehand and clear up afterwards. They ensure that there are participation leaflets for everyone in the church and also arrange for some refreshments in the Parish Centre afterwards.
Learn more about the Holy Hour and about the group that organises it on the fifth episode of our Parish Podcast.
